Welcome to Ozawa group at Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR) at Tohoku University!
We are a theoretical physics research group, studying an intersection between condensed matter physics and atomic, molecular, and optical physics.

What's new

• February 18, 2026: Bruno Mera, a former member and a frequent visitor of our group, has arrived at Sendai and is going to stay with us for the next three months!
• February 6, 2026: Collaboration with U of Montréal on observation of quantized Hall drift in a photonic Chern insulator is now published in Physical Review X! Phys. Rev. X 16, 011020 (2026)
